Total sales for the full year 2011 were up 7.7 percent from 2010. Excluding autos, retail and food services sales in December were $328.7 billion, down 0.2 percent from November and up 6.0 percent from December 2010. Total sales ex autos for all of 2011 were up 7.3 percent from 2010.
