January new orders for manufactured goods decreased 1.0 percent to $462.6 billion. Shipments rose 0.9 percent to $463.6 billion. Unfilled orders increased 0.6 percent to $917.9 billion and inventories increased 0.6 percent to 614.7 billion.
December 2011 new orders for manufactured durable goods increased 1.1 percent from November, to $466.2 billion. Shipments rose 0.7 percent, to $459.4 billion. Unfilled orders increased 1.4 percent, to $911.5 billion. And inventories rose 0.1 percent, to $610.1 billion in December 2011.
November 2011 new orders for manufactured durable goods increased 1.8 percent, to $459.2 billion. Shipments were virtually unchanged, at $455.0 billion. Unfilled orders increased 1.3 percent, to $898.3 billion. And inventories rose 0.5 percent, to $609.8 billion.
October 2011 new orders for manufactured durable goods decreased 0.4 percent, to $450.0 billion. Shipments rose 0.6 percent, to $455.4 billion. Unfilled orders increased 0.2 percent, to $885.9 billion. And inventories rose 0.9 percent, to $607.1 billion.
September 2011 new orders for manufactured durable goods increased 0.3 percent, to $453.5 billion. Shipments rose 0.3 percent, to $452.7 billion. Unfilled orders increased 0.9 percent, to $886.3 billion. And inventories rose 0.1 percent, to $601.3 billion.
